In 2008, we spent $220,050 supporting those organizations that parallel our mission in the community. LGMC partnered with organizations to raise research money and awareness for illnesses like breast cancer, diabetes and heart disease, lung disease, and we fund only a few from the hundreds of requests every year. In 2007-2008 these monies were donated to 56 different organizations in our community, including: Acadiana Chapter of the American Cancer Society
