Informational Seminars

Anyone interested in attending a free, informational seminar is invited and encouraged to bring interested family and friends to share in the learning experience.  Team members Brooke Doucet, RN Bariatric Program Manager, Amy Hotard, Bariatric Patient Advocate, and Dr. Philip Gachassin or Dr. Dennis Eschete, bariatric surgeon, will be on hand to explain the different procedures and to answer your questions.

Information Needed
You will need to bring a picture ID and your insurance card. We will contact your insurance to verify benefits after the seminar.

Seminars are held at Lafayette General Medical Center on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 5:30 PM- 6:30 pm or on scheduled Saturdays from 10:00-11:00 AM in Owen Auditorium on the first floor across the hall from the cafeteria.  Following are the upcoming dates, but please register online by clicking the date below or at our calendar of events.  You may also call the bariatric office at 337-289-8484 to schedule by phone.
